BellKeep and Google Calendar
BellKeep syncs bookings two ways with Google Calendar: rooms booked in BellKeep appear in the organiser's Google Calendar, and changes made on either side are reconciled.
Category: Calendar sync. Available from the Starter plan.
What it does
- Creates and updates events in the connected user's Google Calendar when they book a room in BellKeep
- Receives change notifications from Google through push webhooks, which BellKeep renews automatically every hour as they near expiry
- Processes a sync queue every five minutes to retry anything a webhook missed
- Stores OAuth tokens encrypted at the application level
How to set it up
- Sign in to BellKeep and open Settings, then Calendar.
- Choose Connect Google Calendar and approve the Google consent screen.
- Book a test room in BellKeep and confirm the event appears in Google Calendar.
Limits
- Available on Starter, Professional and Enterprise
- Each user connects their own calendar; BellKeep does not import Google Workspace room resources or their booking history
- Google throttles API calls, so very large bulk changes can take a few minutes to appear
